Today was the second of two tours. We caught a safari truck at 8 am in the morning. From here, we drove twenty minutes to Mossman Gorge for the first guided walk through the rainforest. We took this chance to capture some family shots, as well as some scenic shots of the beautiful gorge.
After the gorge, we hopped back aboard the bus and get driven to the Daintree River to catch a cruise down the river. Here, we had the chance to get up nice and close to several saltwater crocodiles. The cruise reminded me of one we did way back in the day in Florida....
The cruise was followed by a BBQ lunch and scenic views of the river, then we drove up to the Alexandra Point Lookout and Cape Tribulation for some time at the beach. Up north here was such a calm and pretty place, we all wished the tour let us have more time here! Sadly though, we had a cable ferry to catch and another guided walk to make, so we had to leave before we really wanted to.
Although this day wasn't as action packed as the snorkel tour, we saw much more than we could have accomplished on our own time. Another great day and many more memories made!!
